I never said anyone shouldn’t complain. I’ve been pretty consistent on that. Here’s what I’ve said for the last six years when it comes to complaints. Give ideas, give constructive criticism, and if someone is bad enough to make one quit, then by all means do so.
But recently there has been a trend of people complaining about my (and others’) feedback saying its telling people how they should play. I don’t give two craps about how someone plays the game. Boost your settings if you wish, I don’t care.
But on the topic of dyes, yeah I’m going to say that having less options to what colors we can choose is a lesser system. A lesser number is lesser to a greater number. That’s simple math.
And yes, a system where you can dye anywhere with Random colors you happen to find, if you even find them, is lesser than a system where you go to a specific bench to pick whatever color you want. The system where you go gather random plants to convert into dyes where we have several dozen items providing a SINGLE function instead of no (or one item if we want a reagent cost to it) is a lesser system. Period.
This is not superior to picking a color, no matter how you slice it:

That is a waste of inventory space.
I’m not saying you can’t waste your own inventory space. By all means clutter your own stuff. You have God’s permission to do so I’m sure. I have faith in that.
