Or give your thrall of choice a Truncheon and send him on his merry way, take what you need, slaughter what you don’t. I do this on New Asagarth so my thrall don’t accidentally kill the names
But I agree, the leash mechanics is buggy when they reset and start to walk back, they shouldn’t take damage or concussion damage at all until they reach their original spot.
There is also another side effect to this, player A aggros the entire camp, and runs away, player B enters the camp from the opposite side and finds it desolate. Confused, they stop paying attention. The entire camp walks on them and kills them
I hope they don’t do it that way. It’s already annoying when I’m running around and I cross some imaginary, invisible boundary and they start walking back like zombies and regenerating their health like Wolverine. I would rather have them re-aggro me than Invulnerable Zombie Wolverine.
I think the key fix to just have them aggro again if you enter their leashing distance again instead of just returning to the original spot. I’ll be honest I liked it more back when spiders would chase you half way across the map It was fun and terrifying.
Me too. I’m not sure why exactly they added the leashing. What I liked about that update was that the NPCs would aggro you en masse, unlike before, but I’m not sure what the leashing brings to the table.
I’m not saying there’s no good reason for it, I’m just saying I don’t know what it is
