Extreme cpu bottlenecking, never experienced anything like this

ShintaiDK You’re saying a minimum of 50% difference, which is total bs, I already explained why you’re wrong, please check what you claim next time.

FightzGamer I know you’re trying to help, but since none of my other games are having these problems, it’s more likely to do with the game itself, since we all know it’s one of the buggiest games to have existed, and I’m not the only one having problems with bad performance in this game if you check the previous comments.

M.Biscotti In 2 of my posts above I mentioned I have 8gb ram

Sorry I didn’t pay enough attention. My bad.

Maybe you can tweak your game graphic settings by putting your game in windowed mode and watching usages (cpu, gpu, ram, hard drive ) in hwinfo64. I have a i8700 (non k) with a gtx970-oc and gpu usage goes up to 100% while not being at max settings  One thing is, textures use much video memory. (medium = 3.5GB, all my gc memory available)

Hope this can help a bit.

regards

@suphomes the video you list uses an overclocked 2600K and an underclocked 8700K, yet easily get 30% difference on a 1070 that’s far from high end in a lot of scenes with load CPU utilization.

Again, you need to pay attention to what you link to.

Obviously the i7 2600k is OC, you claimed it was always 50% minimum, didn’t specify OC or stock. So you’ve only proven yourself being incapable of reading properly, the video by cooperman still proves my point, a 1060 to a 1080 should obviously show improvement in fps if it’s only a 30% difference = bad coding on their part.

Why compare it with an underclocked CPU?

The hardware unboxed video shows I am right.

The video cooperman linked is running the 8700k at STOCK, and it’s about 30% difference from the OC 2600k. Please check the video before you like it. Lmao

You need to check the video again.

It says 4.8ghz, maybe you need a pair of glasses. Oh you deleted your post, seems you didn’t watch the video then xD

There is a 8700K OC and a 8700K stock. Same with the 2600K.

2600K Stock/2600K OC vs 8700K Stock/8700K OC

First 5 games.
1st game 77/77 vs 135/137
2nd game 113/115 vs 177/180
3rd game 83/83 vs 128/137
4th game 70/73 vs 112/116
5th game 132/136 vs 195/213

11 game average 121/124 vs 184/197

Looks like 50%+ to me

Correction*
First game i7 2600k OC vs 8700k Stock 87/98 vs 119/135
Second game 100/165 vs 137/225. & the list goes on.
Doesn’t look like 50% minimum to me

Already said before it was the i7 OC vs the 8700k stock, learn to read please. Lmao done trying to argue with a troll
