Okay, okay. 20 min. was an exaggeration. It doesn’t take that long, but it takes too long. Used to be able to deal with it in 2 or 3 seconds.
The old system made splitting even easier, buddy. We had a 50% split already, it’s not new, all the new system did was REMOVE options. They simply did not need to remove the precise split function. There was zero need to change it.
Split a cheap stack? What do you mean by cheap? The least valuable resource or the one you needed the least? Well yeah, that’s just common sense. You would drop whatever you need the least, but it just made sense not to drop a full, or half stack when all you needed to drop was 40 or 50 from the stack of 1000. Why should I have to click 6 or 8 times to split a stack of 700 or 800 down to 40 or 50-ish when a single shift and drag-drop lets me pick exactly 40 or 50?
You cannot justify the removal of that function no matter what argument you come up with. Period. It’s kind of like making a car that can only turn left and justifying that by saying if you turn left 3 times it’s the same as turning right once.
