Fatal error report after game starts up

Bug Description:

After i start the game and it connects to the funcom server a fatal error pops up and make me close the game. game work fine for like 10 min or so if i dont hit the okay for the fatal error. i have uninstalled and reinstalled already to try and fix it

Steps to Reproduce:

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. Please be as detailed as possible; the more details, the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Step 1: start up game
  2. Step 2: wait till funcom server load
  3. Step 3: then the pop up happens
  4. step 4: press okay to fatal error and repeat

Confirming this is happening to 3 of us from Game Pass as well. 2 of us updated windows overnight and it broke immediately, the third was able to log on. The third then updated windows and started receiving the same fatal error as the rest of us.

Same problem here for me and my mate. I did a windows update yesterday and I can’t log in since then. I only get a simple “Fatal Error!” in logs.

Have you tried uninstalling the latest windows update until the issue is resolved? The issue seems to be with Xbox pass only, steam game works fine with the latest windows update.

Does anyone have the update number that needs to be uninstalled?
Is it KB5008212?

Yes. I removed it and the problem was solved
