I’m not sure I’m in favor of force merging servers as indicated by the latest release notes. I know some of you are. I’m definitely not in favor of more people on the same low end gportal hardware without some significant upgrades.
But if you must merge, please consider merging people on low population servers into new unpopulated servers so that everyone at least starts at the same starting point and can compete for their preferred location. It would not be cool at all to lose your bases and get dumped onto a server where all the good spots were spam claimed already.
