Fish / Shellfish -trap inventory seems bugged

Bug Description:

I am unsure whether it’s intended or not as I haven’t paid attention to the functioning of fishtrap inventories for quite a while now, however it is not in line with the way any other crafting station works so here I am reporting it.
Basically unlike every other container in the game, if fish-traps have a full inventory, they will continue to use their recipes to generate fish, however all newly generated fish will be lost.
Other containers simply expand their inventory size temporarily to accommodate the new items, the fish-trap seems static and just endlessly wastes materials without generating new items.

Bug Reproduction:

  • Build a fishtrap
  • Fill up all its inventory with bugs / bees
  • Watch as fish is “crafted” but doesn’t actually get stored
