Follow-up: Funcom you did it, Encounters Working!

I have some additional good, no make that GREAT news to report back to you all. As many Funcom CMs and the team may know from past feedback, Encounters/Event have (almost) always been broken on my Offline Singleplayer game on ps4 and now ps5. However…that all changes now!

Funcom you charming, erudite, dashing bunch of people, I am absolutely delighted (and excited!) to inform you that the last Update fixed the broken Encounters for me! This is significant because mine was one of the more difficult cases the community has seen; I had not had a single Encounter work for me to date (aside from the old Halloween event), but the Head Hunter/Witch Hunt Encounters are all working for me now. Why see for yourselves.

Note-unfortunately I was not fast enough to snap a picture of the Darkness one at Stargazers Crest before I came under attack, but it does work.

So if these are now working for a case as challenging as mine, you all have either solved it completely or you are on the right track and have the issue on the ropes. I feel so very happy and had the time of my life completing these. My sincere and profound thanks to you all!

PS- I did not experience any of the crashes a couple of members reported. Perhaps it is an online issue, or an uncommon one(?). No inferences intended, just an on the record thing.

Oh Jesus, without Witch Hunt Encounters skull grind is so exhausting. I want Magi skull as a Chapter II souvenir too.
Are Witch Hunt Encounters spawn rates same as before? Event was spawning every 5 minutes on Siptah after killing Magi skull Sorcerer. But on Exiled Lands Witch Hunt Encounter it seems that it was spawning on one side of the map blocking it from spawning on th3 rest of the map, so to Witch Hunt you had to do some crazy traveling or build damn Transportatory Stone network.
I tried reporting that Witch Hunt Encounters stopped spawning after latest February 7th performance update but nobody cared. Did I missed something?

I tried spawning Darkness encounters on my Single Player offline and online on both Exiled Lands and Isle of Siptah maps - no luck -_-’ You got me hyped for a sec. I’m not even trying official PVE and PVE-C servers.

I wanted them too @OlSkunGun, so I can relate. I obtained one feom each of the 4 Magi sorcerers. I need to see if they glow or emit smoke/steam when placed on a shelf.

This will be speaking purely from tje perspective of a Singleplayer here, who only started to get his first Encounters to work a couple of nights ago, after the new update. Yep, first ones ever! Now I noticed that they were sort of reminiscent of star metal meteors in the Frozen North. Not in the sense you should stand there for prolonged periods of time. But rather, make certain that you have been online and playing for around ~1 hour before going on the hunt for them at their actual locations. I personally found that the Volcano one spawned most frequently, the Jungle and Tundara ones were about even steven thereafter, and the one in the Frozen North the most difficult. I found I had the most success getting them to spawn by Admin Teleporting there as opposed to approaching on foot or mount. And finally, please bear in mind that they are a chance to spawn, not a certainty. So I would (and did) check each location at least half a dozen times before logging off. Here is a map of the locations just in case.

I was milking the hell out of Darkness encounters in offline Single Player mostly on Siptah but on Exiled Lands too before February 7th performance update. I had no issues spawning them on foot when approaching spawn location. But after killing main Sorcerer encounter were not respawning if you hanged arround in the area like on Siptah official server where they were spawning every 5 minutes for me. Nope, in offline Single Player you had to go away a certain distance away from spawn location then return in order for encounter to spawn again. If you had a horse you could do it quite fast and in general Single Player milk cow was giving much more milk than Siptah official server one ^^
BTW Did you knocked out some Khitan Exiles as a Chapter II souvenir too? I know they’re low tier fighters, but it seems you can’t get them anywhere else. I’m getting Khitan ladies and they got kinda asian beauty.
Spreaking of Chapter II souvenirs, I’m also be saving come coins and regular Sorcerer skulls.
I marked all Khitan carts and Witch Hunt Encounters spawn locations on my map to allways have memory of them whenever I’m looking at my maps.
