Follower problem - females turning pink

I posted this in the Bug Reprt page but I think perhaps it is more useful here. Sorry

If this query is in the wrong place my apologies - so long as you tell me where then please move it to the correct place.

Whenever I recruit a Thrall I alter their appearance and give them the required equipment. OK so far. NOW - when I command them to follow they immediately turn bright pink - I cannot work out why???
(This only affects females btw)
I have removed/reloaded all body/change mods and this appears to make little difference

You’d have to figure out which mod(s) cause the issue and take the report to the authors of said mod(s). It’s not a general/unmodded issue, so the problem lies somewhere in that rather extensive list of yours.

Thanks - in process of offloading all mods and replacing them. Will post if I find problem one.
