Bug
After the latest followers patch, non thrall pets seem to be completely bugged in a way I’ve never seen before, half sunken through the floors and at strange angles. pets will retain these angles when they move to attack a target or if you tell them to follow you, and it makes them useless in combat. My reaper queen now spits over & outside of the target’s hitbox making her nearly useless. My spider hoard (placed on cliff walls to look menacing) now scurry after targets they can no longer hit because their faces are burried in the sand.
Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:
- Select pet
- Select move and guard
- place pet
- witness pet placed at odd angle
Attempting to move them again via move and guard doesn’t fix the issue, they retain the broken angle. Restarting the session, or leaving render distance don’t help either. The only fix I found was to take the pet halfway across the map and tell it to stop following so that it goes back on it’s own after 15 minutes, and that has only worked once.
Additional problem;
Thralls placed inside of structures are telleporting outside the structures to fight targets even when set on stand and defend. No idea what factors could cause this or how to replicate it. I have large complex structures on my single player, and yesterday I had over 200 thralls. they keep teleporting out of their designated areas, and often into palisades causing them to die. I’ve lost 17 thralls to this over the last 5 hours.
