I have more of a ? on this, my son sometimes plays with me on co-op mode, but we have found that he cannot stray to far from me. Sometimes if I go to far it drags him along or ports him to my location.
I guess the ? is on co-op mode can he wander off and do his own thing or must he always be a sidekick

Sidekick. Co-op has a tether distance that locks 2nd player to a maximum distance to 1st player
Thanks for the answer. I can always use a sidekick, but it be cool if he could wander off and explore and build in my world.
Yeah if Sony was smart they would make a seperate periphary that can be used as a “host” machine for online ps4 server games. Like a super dumbed down PlayStation that can host your world. Would of made a killing on it with how many people would use it to host games like ark and Conan. Better yet would be to have a server program on our home pc for it but Sony is too scared of that
