Free camera movement while running

How can I freely look behind me while running?

Hi everyone,

does anyone know how to achieve free camera movement while running in Conan Exiles Enhanced?

I want to keep running in one direction while freely looking around or directly behind me with the mouse, without my character turning with the camera.

I have tried Controller Style Movement ON and OFF, as well as Rotatable Stationary Camera ON and OFF, but I still can’t get the behavior I’m looking for.

I’m not talking about the Vanity Camera (V), because that zooms in too much. I want to use the normal third-person camera at the normal distance, just like in this video:

The player in the video can run normally while freely looking behind himself with the camera, and the camera stays at the normal third-person distance.

Does anyone know how to achieve this in Enhanced? Is it a setting, keybind, mod, or some other trick?

did you recently install one of the various pvp ini’s that are available?

if you did you may have to remove it, then enable controller style movement and reinstall the pvp ini afterwards.
