` *************` FRESH WIPE, BRAND NEW SEASON `************ ` Brutal Sun RP-PvP is a server created to accommodate roleplayers of all levels of experience. **Lore :** We use Conan Lore with Lovecraft blend for the unnatural. No fantasy races or fireballs. **Roleplay** There is a heavy focus on story, through events, character plot hooks GM’d by the admin team and Encounters to investigate the various factions and stories. **Location** We are UK based server with an EU and small US player base. The map we are using for this Season is Savage Wilds. No Voice RP, Text only. **Character development** Through the mods you will have a character sheet and the choice of 15 roles. Play a **Weaponsmith** with the highest tiered items, an **Assassin** with the deadliest poisons, A **Guardian** who can shield others from harm, A **Shaman** who can call the spirits, or a High **Priestess** of Wiccana, tending to the wounds of her sisters in their grove. Or many others. Including religions found in the lore but not in the base game. **Dynamic Wound system** Through conflict and RP your character can take wounds that if left untreated by healers, means you could face death. **PVP** Requires RP and intent, PVP ruleset designed to punctuate RP. **PVE** Has been made more challenging to allow an economy and trade to have meaning. Without our trade that our beloved city of Murun was built on all civilisation as we know shall cease to exist, The Tybor Consortium shall be venturing out to engage these savages at sea, we implore you to aid us in the battle to come. **RP/PvP/PvE Event – A battle of ideals - 12/06/2021 - 21:00 BST/ 15:00 EST** A new note has been placed on the board in the Murun Hub “_Thanks to the actions of the brave souls who braved the seas and put an end to the local pirate menace we are now free of their ships for a time, Thanks to our recent victory we have sized their documents and found that they are storing the illegally seized goods far to the north. They seems to be guarded by a group of Nords. It is imperative that we retrieve these goods and send a message to those that would dare to threaten our civilised ways of life, and that any who dare challenge Murun will be put down like the savages they are._ _The House of the Lotus has also informed us of the potential of the enemies bolstering their numbers by hiring the local clans to help defend after our last victory. **RP/PvE Event - The Frozen March 26/06/2021 - 20:00 GMT / 16:00 EST** _A note has been left on all major settlement notice boards and word in taverns has spread the following message_ “Once again Murun has commissioned me to create a new trade route, this one being the toughest one so far. I intend to push deep into the north, if my map is correct there should be a perfect spot in the north to establish a small dock to connect with our trade docks in the midlands. **RP/PvE Event - Jotnars Arena 02/07/2021 - 21:00 BST / 16:00 EST** _A note appears on the notice board at Murun and invitations can be found littered in Nordheimer camps in peoples houses if anyone stumbles by them_ Chieftain Varin of the Jotnar Raiders is hosting a grand arena fight in the north at the Wolfrun caravan. Those participating will be expected to face animals and beasts, small and large in numbers to prove themselves as honest, brave and worthy hunters to be rewarded a grand prize of 100 gold. Those who are participating may approach this challenge with a group no more than three to face the competition. Do not miss out, other than your possible end to your life what is there to lose! Come up and challenge yourself for a position worthy enough to warrant the respect from the Jotnar Raiders and Chieftain Varin. **Rewards:** - The player(s) who win the arena will be rewarded 100 gold. **Rules** - First death applies to death counter, any deaths beyond that will have no effect. - Lament will be turned off during the fight (Durability loss and Corruption gain will not be an effect in the arena) - Weapons and Armour can be given by the Jotnar for anyone who wants to enter without decent equipment, the standard of this equipment given however will not be that great. ---
