So as a continuation to this thread where I asked information for preffered behavior Expected behavior facing Freya/LiuFei quest bug
I was stuck at those steps , and here is how I got unstuck :
I was exploring another clan’s base on the north west border of the world (top snowy ridges) , when I heard an unexpected dialogue as the text stated it was Liu Fei speaking those lines, I’m not sure why here and at that time but , hey after speaking with him at this clan base I was able to go speak to him to give him the 3 blood flask , and then the rest of the quests went without bugs for me ( as additional info I’m starting a new one right now , this time the dialogue option was present on arrival no need to explore the north west snowy ridges this time around …

after completing Liu Fei’s quest I went to check out Freya , to be noted I had kept the slaver note and went with it ( I tried multiple times , but after Liu Fei spoke to me at the other clan base I didn’t try to interact with freya , untill the chain of quest ended with Liu Fei as I read it might create some issue having both questlines at the same time ! )
This time around the dialogue option was finaly present ( not sure what happened , but there was the small patch in between that might have had an effect of any sorts , or maybe it’s the completion of Liu Fei’s quest that helped ( I read somewhere someone say that when he is stuck with one companion quest , starting the other one , unlocks the other one … but since I also read it can interfere in a bad way , I wouldn’t recommend it or with caution ) I had no issue with the remaining of the questline , in the vulcano she died once following me , I recommend interacting with her after killing the regular npc’s that hit quite hard that surround the forge , since they are not needed for the completion of the quest , but after she died following me I could interact with her again and launch the quest , the rest of the quest went smoothly with nothing notable .
I hope others that had other steps bugged than those one will post what happened to them , so that we can at least know what behavior to adopt facing these bugs ( for example I can assure you that you can keep the slaver’s note you don’t need to throw it , not sure if it’s a time thing or a trigger of another quest but eventually you will have the dialogue option show up )
