Been playing 7 days. My number 2 because of the first person. Can’t keep my head in it for that reason.
3rd would be Enshrouded, but I finished the game and found the “you can’t get there from here” too aggravating to play a second time.
So I’m hoping funcom will give me a reason to return.
1: Actually put some effort in to making us feel like valued customers.
Half the reason I quit was the “foster kid in the basement” way funcom makes me feel.
If you’re not on X, you don’t deserve news and updates.
I’m here and we do not get notices in any timely manner, seem to be a second thought AFTER we have gripped about it.
I have this book marked and linked, never notices.
You know where I get notices? Youtube for videos. Oh ya, lotsOdune notices.
I get notices from content creators when they have audited the updates.
2: Try managing to update servers with out screw’ing them up or have the update happen days after the announcement for it. THIS has become consistent and dependable. When you can count on oopses, they are not accidents that need an apology, it’s just another layer of ineptitude to deal with.
I mean seriously, leave the server settings alone, you all screw them up practically every time you change them.
3: Fix any 3 of the top ten bugs every month or so. That little patch that amounted to a popcorn fart in a hurricane was not felt.
4: POLICE YOUR FREAKING SERVERS.
Think everyone is aware of what I think of all the gigantic city states of ToS violations there are on every PVE public server.
Most player do not know the ToS enforcement is on them. They assume there is active server admin, and if the city states are here it must be ok.
AND IT’S NOT ABOUT LAG. It’s how much square acreage of the server do you seem to think you are entitled to. Guess what? There is actually an excessive land claim rule. And as far as I know there is only one way to find out if you violated it.
Now, I gotta get this clear and fetch job done in the waste lands; time to hunt zombie bears.
