Oh for sure. I’d have to think though, that the people who are pushing over say, three or four thousand hours are ok (maybe not thrilled with) with the repetitiveness. Sooner or later they have to repeat content.

Yeah I could agree there. It definitely doesn’t seem like a polished system we got, and by adding more loot to already randomized tables just lowers your odds, it makes it worse.

I think one way to fix at least part of the issue would be giving the player a chance to at least choose the class of weapon or armor they get as a reward and then randomize all possibilities of that class. Like for example if you wanted a Sword of Crom, after killing a boss, getting a key and opening the chest, you’re prompted with a choice. You could choose “2h sword” or “epic chest piece” or “epic boots” and have all possible legendaries of the class you picked (2h sword) and at least then your getting a guaranteed 2h sword.

It’s not perfect but you at least get to eliminate some possibilities and choose what to grind for.
