Bug Description:

I have had several tables, a stove, luxurious bed, candles, vases, and now my storage chest with all my valuables disappear on me. I checked my event logs and it states that these items have “lost stability”. I read somewhere that mugs on tables on rugs cause some kind of bug that erases the table, so I’ve stopped putting mugs on tables, but then my stove with candles on it disappeared. I made a new stove and it has stuck around so far. Today when I returned to my base, my luxurious bed had “lost stability”, along with my chest cupboard that contained all of my keys, treasures, and basically everything that’s needed to progress the storyline. I’m super pissed and don’t even want to play this anymore if this isn’t fixed. I don’t know if its my server, a bug, or what, but it’s got to stop. Does anyone know how to prevent things from losing stability?

On a related, but I think separate note, none of my animals will grow in the pen, even though I built the pen on a foundation and provide the correct foods, eventually the pets turn into putrid meat when I check on them.

This seems to be an old bug that has reemerged.

If you don’t want your containers (including crafting stations) to mysteriously decay then you need to make sure you don’t have anything on top of them or below them.

That means your container can not be on a carpet, shelf, or any other placeable.

That means your container can not have decorations, furniture, or other placeables placed on top of them.
