Thanks to everyone who has shared their experience with Conan Exiles crashing as recently as 2024. Those experiencing this on both Ps4 (I’ve got a Pro) as well as PS5. First, I need to point out I recently discovered the game and it was refreshing to have what I call a “comfort” game to replace what I had before - Fallout 4. I mean, there’s swimming, climbing, building, etc. I was glad here is a title with all the elements I enjoyed in fallout 4 but the difference was that it didn’t crash like fallout 4. That was when I last played the Age of Sorcery months ago. I’ve now come back to enjoy the Age of Heroes and I’m utterly dismayed to declare this is giving me the same horrible feeling of despair, anger, disappointment, incredulity as I felt with the issues I had with Bethesda’s title! Incredulity because the comments I’m seeing here seem to indicate the developers aren’t responding as they should to fix this problem. It shouldn’t fall on the consumer to find workarounds or troubleshoot. This reminds me of the time I was playing fallout 4 and would skirt the edges of the centre of the map cos I knew it had the most likelihood to crash! This is ridiculous and stressful gaming! Pathetic that Developers would do this and expect folks to pay a lot for their titles. That being said, I was looking forward to purchasing my next gen console and enjoying the next title from Funcom - Dune Awakening. Well, I’m thinking I’m probably not as I regard them to be as bad as Bethesda at this moment. Good grief!
