Game crashes and refuses to shutdown and leaves me unable to access other windows including taskmanager

Good afternoon, I recently came back to the game to try out the the new Age of Sorcery update and had to renistall the game from scratch.

At first everything seemed fine but now, especially during building the game crashes with looping sound and it will not shutdown. I cannot even see the other windows like task manager to kill the process because it gives me a black screen when I click on the other windows. I can see the task bar and even though I can right click and “close all windows” it still doesn’t shut the game window down.

This leaves me now option but to click the windows icon and restart my pc. WTH is happening here ?

@cragzUK do you have Nvidia in game overlay on because turning it off did it for me. Make sure your pilots are up to date as well
