Bug Description:
I have not been able to start a game at all since the AoW Ch2 dropped. It hangs every time. Sometimes it doesn’t even get to the game screen and hangs on the nvidia splash screen. The 2 times I have managed to get to start a game it hung as soon as the loading screen came up. I’m on Steam, collectors edition, all dlc, I’ve tried verifying files, I’ve removed the one mod I had, and still it hangs before I can do anything, half the time still on the intro splash screens

Can you confirm if you have the latest video graphics drivers installed?
If you, please, try to reinstall the game in order to verify if the issue was fixed.

If you happened to have used any mods and have since uninstalled them:
There is a very high probability there are leftover files from a mod that may be corrupting your game.
You will have to locate those specific files and remove them manually, then reverify your file integrity.
Note: even reinstalling the game may also reinstall the leftover files, so it is imperative that you remove those files manually BEFORE you attempt to uninstall and reinstall the game.
I’m sorry, but there is simply no easy way around this.
