It is essential that I play offline due to Extremely poor internet performance where I live.-- way out in the country. I originally download the first conan exiles – 3 days – and it stopped working after my first go at it. I then downloaded testlive – another 3 days – and played almost 13 hours — saved it – quit — and now it won’t continue – or start a new game. What is happening ??
Any ideas ?? Please help with any suggestions.

You might want to try to ‘verify integrity of cache’ in the game’s options within Steam library. It will scan all the files and find anything corrupted to re-download. Best advice I can offer.

You are very vague in your descriptions.

Best not to use the Testlive version.

If you connect to the internet and try to return to your game does it work?

All I can suggest is make sure you are not running battleye (in fact remove it), run an integrity check and make sure your hard drive or SSD does not have problems that could corrupt you data files. I personally have never tried to run the game offline so no idea if it will work. I am sure you have heard of DRM.

You will need an internet connection in order to establish connection with Steam in order for Steam verify you have a non-pirated copy (also known as Steam DRM). Once you launch the game, you should be able to play single player without internet access.

I have done that – played the game – and quit. Then I can no longer play solo - " cannot join game error" ---- and cannot continue – game just crashes during load. Happens on both CE and Testlive.
I have a new super system with 32 GB Ram and 1 TB space – Intel quad 7 and new Radeon GPU.

Crashing before you get to the menu, or crashing on load into single player?
