It would be nice if you got rid of Live Settlements. Personnaly i don’t like that, i want my thralls to stay where i put them. If ppl want npc’s running around the building, make more then 1 Bar. As it is now i think it is annoying. I tried to put them in a sealed room without a door but they still keep getting out. Buuuu
And please make the color green again when you are destroying building parts. My self i have hard time to see the red color.
Make so you can choose if you want the new UI or the old one and would be nice if you had a choise to make the UI bigger or smaller. I think it is to big right now.
I too am not a big fan of LS, and also like it when my thralls are where theyre supposed to be, its really easy to notice if one has magically gone missing if they are not at their designated spot. But the biggest thing that grinds my gears is the priests go to any random shrine and start worshiping. Not once have i gone to a shrine and found the priest of that specific god worshiping at it. Dumb
Hi and welcome to the forums Please don’t mistake my annoyance with Living Settlements as a (IMO) deeply flawed sytem as being criticism aimed at you.
The difference is that when Living Settlements are turned on, they are almost never standing at their bench, they’re generally wandering aimlessly about, standing on tables and genrally making a mockery of the whole immersion idea. They were much better when they were simple ‘objects’ tied to a bench - they performed their animations without failure, which brought life to a base, and they were far less of a drain on performance, because they were just a small bundle of code and an animation, rather than a full follower with inventory, world presence and (extremely limited) AI. When players requested ‘more life’ for their bases, was was generally wanted was for fighter types to be able to be set patrol routes and idling points and the like. Not to have all the crafters turned into something much less convenient, while reducing performance and still leaving the fighter types lifeless and standing still. (As far as I am concerned, Living Settlements makes my base seem less alive than it ever did before the sytem was introduced, because now it doesn’t even have crafters actually working at their benches.)
