Getting the boot

Every time I load into official server 2730, it will either drop right up front, or it will render out. And drop after a few seconds. This has been happening all day long. I have deleted the cash on my Xbox. I have deleted the saved data on my xbox. So the server could refresh what was saved. Nothing seems to work. Do we have any ideas

I’ve poked the team about this so they can investigate further. For now the servers should be working as usual but if you are still experiencing this or similar issues, please feel free to poke me about it.

I posted to another post as well. This is not resolved. I just tried to login on this server and problem still exist. Please poke someone again. Also, please see related posts under the Xbox topic. Thanks for paying attention, we console players feel neglected

Das Problem besteht immer noch. Alle Server in meiner Liste gehen nicht: 2010/2013/7000/7003/2017/2016/2012/2104/2002/2001.

Still not working on server #2877

The servers are still not working. Real, easy for you to tell that they’re not working. When you go to the service list, most of the servers are empty.

Good evening! This still happening. Just tried servers 2810 and 2131. A few seconds after connecting to session, the game crashes back to the home screen.

I’ve posted an update on this situation here: Xbox Ongoing Official and Private Server Crashes

So you’re unlisting my posts because ?

If you are targeting me that’s fine. I’ll just go on other social medias and express myself where you can’t pick and choose who to let see the truth about you guys.

It really isn’t a problem for me.

But if Im writing a decent post and it isn’t affecting anyone you really have no business hiding it.

I will be sharing this on social media to show how you are retaliating against me for your own personal gain.

Are you referring to the Dune post? I unlisted it because it was not related to Conan Exiles and as you mentioned in there, your concern was addressed.

If there is anything else you need help with, please feel free to send a DM my way

The Mad Sorcerer :crossed_swords::man_mage:Says :

Hahahaha DONT be uspset Kamil was able to handle this situation in a short time

Because waiting on you took 2 years.

Anyway enjoy your day

Why did you delete my post? You don’t like the truth being out there? We are officially being blocked by funcom and the not so smart choices they have made. And they will not accept the blame. Then here you come with a lame excuse and double xp offer like that makes this all OK. Lmmfao your a joke

Your post probably got flagged for being offensive and completely devoid of actual content. Instead of flinging random accusations around, try reading the information that is provided and then abiding by the rules of the forums. It is understandable that people are frustrated by the current situation with XBox, but that situation is due to a change made by a third-party and Funcom identified the solution within a few hours. (Reports started coming in after Dana had finished work, so weren’t picked up until the next morning, at which point Funcom began immediately trying to fix the situation, and providing information on what was going on.) The solution requires a patch, which has to go through Microsoft certification for approval before it can be provided to players. That is not something Funcom has control over, it is a rule set by Microsoft.

It just seems so strange that this all started exactly when decay timers went back to normal. We have seen things go nuts when small changes like that happened before. Of course I don’t doubt that Funcom is being truthful about it being a third party issue. It could just be coincidence but I don’t often believe in coincidences

A fair reaction - particularly given that Funcom has not named the third party (though there may be contractual obligations impacting that). However - decay timers changing is something that happens regularly, without incident. Hypothetically, what could have happened is that a change made by the third party had a knock-on effect that then triggered the actual conflict when the decay timers were changed in the normal way, suddenly revealing the impact of the actual change. This would explain the timing, while also fitting the evidence.

My personal suspicion, given that this has only impacted XBox and not PS (or Epic), is that maybe Microsoft made some small base level change to XBox that then interacted badly with some element that Funcom had made years ago to work around something. Others have theorised Playfab (a Microsoft subsidiuary used to do with FLS) may have made a change with similar consequences. Of course this is all speculation, but given that only XBox is affected, it certainly suggests something unique to XBox. Of course, there are likely some elements of Funcom code unique to each platform from the porting process (but as I understand it, porting is also carried out by third-parties, so…), so it could be something to do with that - but I would have thought any such issue would have arisen closer to when actual substantive changes were made, rather than merely a ‘button press’ like decay timers.

Seemed logical for most. Why simply have a button for decay timers? Conan logic dictates must have 20 steps and a jump at the end to do that.

Well, yes. Not gonna deny the old ‘spaghetti code’ factor…

you mean at the same time that all the northen hemisphere gets out of the summer holidays :exploding_head: ?

Do you think it’s a coincidence or since you don’t believe in them just that they fixed this date to coincide with the end of extended decay timmers ?

“Go back to school children, parents has no extended decay timmer anymore” (the ministry of education probably)
“Everyone back to work, conan has no more extended decay timmer !!!” (your boss probably)

Or maybe it’s the other way around:

"Third parties software will update on sept 1st, let’s make our end of decay timmer coincide with this so if there is a screw-up we can blame it on them :thonk: !!! " ( a funcom dev probably ) !!!

:hear_no_evil: :speak_no_evil: :speak_no_evil:

wouldn’t FLS issues affect everyone not just Xbox ?

Depends what exactly the changes were. (As I said, my theory is that it was something Microsoft changed directly with XBox, but others have suggested the Playfab/FLS connection - and there is some correlation with the fact that XBox users are identifying being able to stay in game a little longer if they perform certain actions (see here).)

I’m not making baseless accusations. Everything is based off of facts period. None of the issues started happening until funcom started changing things. It was not a third party application that decided to update the servers. Common sense one plus one is two. I’m not sure what world you live in. Or what color your rainbows are? But I live in a world called reality.
