I don’t think this is a bug and I don’t think Funcom “forgot,” they just used some sounds they already had available.

That said, I think Funcom should consider using altered pitches on their sounds if they are going to reuse them. Changing the pitch of played sound files should be fairly easy to do and not require new files.

If they lowered the pitch of the ape sounds, it might sound a lot more appropriate for the golems.

In the same token, the sounds for the Nemedian Gong should have the gong sounds increased in pitch so the two don’t sound the exact same despite being vastly different sized gongs.
