Golems need be removed from the game completely

Since they were introduced and added to the game they only caused problems. Firstly making everyone nearby disconnect from the server (while fighting each other), and for the last years the invincibility glitch. Both UE4 and UE5 versions of the game have this exploit and it seems there is no solution to patch it, otherwise it would have been patched long time ago. From other perscpective, they are useless too. They are not farming resources unless you are standing with them and watching. They are not defending base because they die from any star metal made weapon in 3-4 swings.

What do you mean by that? They become invincible?

Yes, back in 2023 if you used lightning or radiant head to craft your golems, there was a chance of them becoming unkillable after server restart. Recently when you crafted 2 golems in a row on the same bench, the server would crash and the 1st golem would become immortal.

Both of these methods were patched, however, some people still have dozens of immortal golems, and as i see now, people on PC found out how to do them again, since they start to appear there too.

Does 30,000 HP seem immortal? There is no trick to that. It is consistent.

I like golems.

that in pvp mode you cannot kill them, they take 0 damage, and people use this exploit and u can find bases with over 100 immortal golem with all the loot on them…

and yes some people generate actually still immortal golem, so there is a problem.

it’s not about the amount HP he has. It’s about him taking 0 damage from any weapon or any another source of damage.

Okay. It sounds like just leftovers. I assume you tried their weakness.

If they are truly not taking any damage, then file the report. If there is a way to show (in a video) no change, that would be helpful.

from last patch patchnotes known issues … no need to ask for proof on things that are already known issues

I haven’t read the patchnotes on Enhanced. I currently do not have that version. It appears new.

Except that people have been complaining about it pretty much since golems were added to the game. It is far from new. Just because you haven’t experienced something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.

Meh… they aren’t great combatants and what will this truly affect? PVP folks just push past any thrall that is problematic. PVE doesn’t even care because so what if they have an immortal machine?

2 things I see are problematic about golems is 1) they seem to consume a lot of processing power for what they are and 2) as Harvesters, they are functionally neutered to needing a PC around the entire time.
I will occasionally use them as a thematic for my character but as far as advantage? Meh. I don’t see anyone dropping their Dalensia for an immortal golem.

That’s not my argument. You want golems removed?

I don’t care in the slightest. You were the one who has multiple times claimed that golems are not immortal. You then claimed that people should prove it by producing videos. Kanza showed you that they do not need to because the problem is already listed as a known issue. So you then acted as though it must be a new problem just to do with enhanced. So I pointed out to you that it has been a problem since golems were added to the game - there have been multiple glitches and ways to produce immortal golems. I don’t care if they stay or go, I was just pointing out to you that your attempts to dismiss the problem as 1. not existing, 2 needing video proof and then 3.a problem from enhanced don’t hold water.

Simple solution.

Make Golems use the Horse AI code. Make them purely gatherers/harvesters.

With the Horse AI, they won’t be able to attack and will just flee.

If people put loot on these immortal ones to avoid losing it to a base raid…oh well. Funcom didn’t remove the ability to build bases just because a few are building ‘below mesh’ vaults to stash stuff.

It “appears” is not the same as it “is”. I’m aware of the issues of the old. I cannot confirm nor deny because there is no argument. I I’m not going to make you wait. It is what it is.
