Grave matters event, can it be disabled?

Hello, first time writing here :smiley:

So, I’m playing on my friends server, and after march 25 Grave Matters event has been stuck in Floatsam. I didn’t mind it, until I found out it removes the option to buy spider eggs. So can my friend disable it in somewhere, or is this time period event that Funcom has enabled? If you have any info about it, i’d be very grateful.
