As a builder in Conan Exiles, I’d love to have the ability to place foundations of other surfaces such as gravel to make paths and soil to make gardens.
One thought I had was to have a soil foundation, not stackable, can’t place walls on the top of it, and they’d work like the planters. Maybe it could have a 3x3 grid layout inside it to 9 grow plants on or just fill it with ordinary seeds to grow grass. This would help greatly with landscaping a garden area.
