Great QOL update suggestion: thrall control button (should this be in feedback or general?)

I’m sure people will love this idea… the left control stick lets you run on console, but the right control stick when clicked does nothing unless near enemies. I would like this to be bound to controlling your thralls instead of (square on ps4-5)

It’s infuriating to be trying to access a bench / chest and the game has not loaded in the fact that you’re in front of said bench / chest, so instead your thralls surround and block you. In menus right stick has a function when clicked, in the game world it does not!!!

Or just let us keybind on consoles!

Holding right stick could detargetlock, allowing single double and triple click to send thralls to attack stop or return.

Next: please make it where the contents of loot do not load unless the character is stationary. I’m sick of running by a dead npc or chest in my base, and the game tries to display the loot content, takes a whole 1-2 seconds, and freeze screens but your character keeps running, and off you go a mile away - in the open world often running off a cliff to your death. The loot table should not load unless your left stick is neutral / character stationary. This should have been an obvious idea from the start honestly.

Guys bump this topic until the devs implement these ideas. I think these would be great, simple, practical and minor changes to the game that would benefit all players.

I posted the very same a few weeks back. it’s kinda annoying when I’m trying to tell my thrall to do something but instead I start grabbing rocks and branches off the ground

@Darkzombie this too, or vise versus (I want to grab some plant fiber or branches to repair a tool and send thralls off) I mean why is the right stick not bound yet square is used for 50 different things.

Not to mention you use the right stick to target enemy npcs, then have to take your thumb off it, hope they haven’t moved, and press square to tell thralls to attack said npc. It should naturally be the right stick to control thralls!!!

Not sure that the right stick click would be best for this though. It would wear out with as much clicking is required for interacting with things. Maybe a different button or combination for something?

I 100% agree with this. I HATE that I aim a little bit wrong and get gangblocked by my horse and my thrall so I cannot move. I hate that interact button is the same as for ordering thralls. It needs to be something else.

But this should be in the feedback section of the forums. I recommend you recreate the thread there.
