When trying to obtain a greater rocknose by taming a pebblenose, the odds seem off in using both ironstone or Shadespiced ironstone. The wiki shows 20% or 26% but in reality I haven’t been able to get a greater rocknose in well over a year worth of trying various times (~50 within the year window). I suspect the odds were adjusted at some point.
Generally in some things i see rng changes after the last update, but i cannot understand if we speak for a bug or intention.
For example it’s been very long since the last time I saw a Nordheim Berserk on purges and on Surges of Siptah the loot table from items to crafters has shortened greatly.
Many strange things happened since the last updates, thanks @erjoh for mentioning this also.
Meanwhile I’m drowning in Greater bears and wolves. Tigers and hyenas seem to be right on the money as far as 1:5 for the best food (no shadespice)
I grew 100 rocknoses on ironstone and another 100 on shadespiced iron ore.
From the ironstone, I got 20/100, which is exactly the expected 20%.
From the shadespiced iron ore, I got 27/100, which is one higher than the expected 26%.
The wiki is correct.
So I’m just Charlie Brown
