i just wen ahead… and wanted to compare the price of this item with the cost of a real one, because why not?

in game fiction : (you cant use it) , not even an emote for it XD

(i wonder would someone pay 2 USD for that tiny thing ? ) LOOOOOL! pretty sure there must be someone outthere that got excited about that brush… checking the bazaar every day to see it pop… guess what it is here! go grab it!

Real one. yes this one you can use.

difference is one has a cost to make, the other one is pixels

and the one in game… could cause FOMO … so please do not miss it. real one is always available if you want to buy it. No manipulation at all.

Have fun!

Yeah, I agree that the Bazaar items are overpriced for their value. That’s why I have purchased only a couple of Bazaar offerings that seemed to be reasonably priced. And yeah, I agree that the FOMO tactics are slimy and unnecessary.

That said, this is the worst take I’ve seen on Bazaar prices since they even announced the switch from DLCs to the microtransactions.

Both have a cost to make. One is made in China by a combination of machines and severely underpaid laborers, the other one is made either in Norway or the US by middle class professionals.

So if you’re going to complain about the cost difference, you might want to direct your anger at the exploitation of the working class rather than Funcom.

HAHA! at least,

you should understand that EACH one of those real brushes has a manufacturing cost… each one comes with a price. each brush has a real cost to make, (materials, labor, infracstructure, machines, packing materials, and in some cases the cost to put it on the market, (sales and marketing) there is also logistics etc, (all of that will of course will be taken into account in the final price… oh and that simple brush needed a design phase and molds to make (depending on the materials they use, those molds are made of different grade of steel. that can reach dozens of thousands dollars to make those alone. in some cases molds are rented to other manufacturers or even sold…

please learn a bit about manufacturing… before coming in here talking about things you clearly you dont have clue. cause you clearly dont have any.

you can take your poor leftish political views out of here. i am not interested in dealing with how much a worker makes in china. and this is certainly not the forum to talk about such things.

the case of the brush is brought because some real ones are cheaper than the one in game, and yes the prices are totally off.

now that i made a really brief example of what it takes to make, care to tell me how much does it cost copies of the pixels? there is a cost, yes, design , coding etc. there is NO COST OF MANUFACTURING because the item does NOT EXIST. big difference with tangible items.

yet the fake one is more expensive. than the one who does have manufacturing, needs to be loaded in boxes , boxes in pallets and pallets into containers, from which all of your merchandize is shipped by ship,. depending on the destination can take from 10 to 60 days at sea

Don’t know why I even bothered, it was obvious you were going to miss the point by miles, just like you did with your opening post.

No shіt, Sherlock? The whole point was that you’re comparing apples to oranges on so many levels that it’s ridiculous. Hell, forget about “apples to oranges”, this is “elephants to refrigerators”.

Yeah, comparing the prices of tangible goods to virtual goods – two business models that couldn’t be more different – is a common mistake people make here, but you couldn’t even do that properly.

You wanna compare a virtual scrub brush with a real one? Here, how’s this:

Or this:

Or this:

But do go on with your bullshіt outrage about how “tHe FaKe OnE iS mOrE eXpEnSiVe”.

hahaha dude chill … you are going to have a heart attack.

still if you know where to look , the fake ones are still more expensive.

when it should be the other way around because one is fictional, and cost is much smaller than real ones, even those cheap from china costs more to put in market than it cost funcom to put an item in teh bazaar.

that is the point.
