I was dragging Lianeele to my base when I noticed my chain suddenly no longer had anyone attached to it. I saw the moment it happened so she should have been right there. I retraced my steps and looked around everywhere she could have been but she was just gone. I reloaded and searched again but to no avail. She just straight up disappeared. This happen anyone else before?
It’s happened to me a few times, especially when dragging RHTS’s out of the Wine Cellar. They should still be there, just not rendering or are under the mesh. I’m able to access a wheel and they show up in the inventory. Just don’t get on a horse - they’ll come off and you may never find them. I did that once and couldn’t for the life of me find them until I ran far enough away from the spot for it to re-render when I came back to it. Luckily the body was there to bind again.
Just assume they are still there and carry on, just run them to your wheel and add them like normal.
This used to happen when I dragged a thrall through the teleport stone but they removed that in the last patch. If I knew it was a bug I wouldn’t have built a large friendship training centre in the middle of nowhere just for sla……… friendship training.
“Friendship Training” Love it!

“friendship wheel”.
Yes this is an old bug.
Instead of relogging, which can cause the un-bound / still unconscious thrall to de-spawn and cause another spawn probably a different thrall at the same spawn-point
Try running out of render distance, then run back, and look around the place the line became unattached, and back along your path.
This isn’t going to work “everytime” but it’s at least a chance of getting your thrall back.
IF you’re talking about losing a thrall after using a portal? that’s a different thing and the post’s above mention how to deal with that situation. ![]()
