I came to the forums to see if maybe y’all have any additional suggestions vs what I’ve already done.
Issue: I created a dedicated server, “The Darkness”, with mods. I have this server installed on a dedicated machine and I have the ports already forwarded (7777-7778, 27015, 25575). At the moment there are three of us and two of us can see the server, play and have no issues. One of us can’t at all. For me and the first friend, we can see the server, ping usually around 40 to 60, and all happy days. Our other friend can find the server online but the ping is 9999 and won’t let him join. If he tries to directly connect he can’t connect at all either.
I’m beginning to wonder if it’s his computer and something that’s blocking the game. Now with that being said, not all servers are pinging 9999. He has Spectrum Internet with a Spectrum provided router. The other guy that can get into the server also has a Spectrum provided router and he isn’t having any issues. I’ve checked the firewall settings on his computer and all that seems fine. I’m just out of ideas.
On my server I do have a password set and a few mods.
