You have the same mechanics right now, with the bar filling up based on ingame actions. But how the purge works is different, there can be 99 levels with each one harder.

  1. Purge meter fills up like normal, your first purge is easy
  2. Second purge is harder, and so forth
  3. Purges get harder each time until say they start spawning in siege weapons and orbs on higher levels.
  4. eventually at level 99 for example they can spawn while you’re offline.
  5. This helps clears servers eventually of dead bases and also gives larger bases more of a challenge
