I am playing on my server that is set up now all players who come on are showing hidden player and ii ave to log in as admin to find out who is online now. Is this a glitch or a setting that kicked on by itself cause I did not turn it on
If this is a private server, are you using mods?
and if so is one of them pipi?
because pipi has an option to do this,
you just need to change the setting on the pipi admin screen.

It is the voice visibility option in server settings - general (at the very bottom). Any value above 0 will cause players to be hidden until they use a chat to reveal themselves. OP can set it to 0 to disable it.
P.S. He is also on ps4 so no mods.
Thanks @Narelle I thought I saw the setting, but when I looked I couldn’t find it,
so I thought I was remembering the similar settings in pippi.
And I didn’t even notice the little ps4, they should highlight that for us half blind old folks.
Ok thanks just never had this issue til now I’ll have to readjust the setting then.
