Testlive is a version of the game where we and you, the community, can stress test upcoming game patches before they’re rolled out to the main, live version of the game.
Testlive builds can be played online on an official Funcom server or offline locally. The Testlive server will be reset constantly, so don’t get very attached to your progress there.
If you’re admin on a private server and want to help us stress test these patches you can install the Testlive build to your server. As long as your players are running the same build they’ll be able to get in and play. Keep in mind that you’re running Testlive builds on your own risk. The builds can be incredibly buggy and prone to breaking. They might also destroy your server databases and make characters unplayable.
Two ways to access Testlive:
1: Downloading the separate Testlive Client
If you own Conan Exiles on Steam, you should now see a separate Product called “Conan Exiles - Testlive Client” in your library which gives you the option to install an additional instance of the game, specifically for the TestLive servers. Please be aware that this will prompt you for a full additional installation.
2: Switching to a different build:
You can check out the latest Testlive build by changing which build the game client uses when you play. To access the Testlive build, do the following in your Steam library:
- Right Click on Conan Exiles.
- Select “Properties”.
- Go to the “Betas” tab.
- From the drop down menu select, “Testlive”.
- Close the window.
- Steam should automatically download Testlive. Once it’s done, run the game. You’re now running the Testlive build of Conan Exiles.
If you want to go back to the MAIN build just repeat the steps above and choose “NONE” in the drop down list in the “Betas” tab.
Your cross awaits, exiles.
