Does anyone know if there is a way to know what number for official servers for Texas. For example I chose 8104 but it is so laggy it’s hard to play . Is there a list of the server numbers for each region ? Is there such a thing?

Being from Texas myself, it 8s hit or miss. I mostly play east, seems my ping is usually better in those. In the US, we have 2 main options, east coast and west coast. My understanding is that is where the gportal servers are located. But on occasion even some EU servers have better ping. Best option is select region US, and the sort by lowest ping. Normally that removes some of the lag. But there multiple reasons for lag, from your ISP to the actual server hardware.

East coast will be a hour ahead of you so a better time for pvp than west coast.
