Hello, How to obtain silverback gorillas since the update
They say it’s sold in the Buccaneers Bay for gold coins.
An npc in Siptah, I don’t remember her name, at a camp called The Spit can drop them. Though there’s a number of other pets she can drop as well so it’s a random chance.
Yeah, but they still need to get the baby gorilla, and that can no longer be got from Hanuman’s Grotto, which is why they’re asking.. As other’s have said the new source is apparently one of the merchants at Flotsam in Buccaneer Bay (Weeba Shamrock) and, from what Raeil just said a similar trader on Siptah.
Edit: I was wrong - the Siptah one is not a trader, you have to kill her for the drop - see Raeil’s post below.
I actually never had one 
I did it once, but I wasn’t particularly impressed (but that was before the pet rework (that was never finished…) so maybe they changed). But for the right set-up they might be decoratively good. Or just be something someone wants - stuff certainly doesn’t have to be the best to be worth having if it’s of interest to you.
Just to be clear, the npc isn’t a trader. You kill her for her drops, one of which will be a pet of the ape, gorilla or yeti variety.
I’ll get back up that way at some point and get her name and maybe a screenshot.
Thought for a minute you meant the Exiled Lands one, then I realised you meant on Siptah. Yeah, it’d be good to get confirmation of who she is

Interesting, they do sell the gorilla, the grey ape, and the silverback gorilla, but they do not have the white yeti and black yeti protectors https://conanexiles.fandom.com/wiki/Black_Yeti_Protector_(Pet)
i wonder if funcom forgot about the yeti? most of them do not play the game so it would not be surprising the rare farm was left out
that’s a huge shame, he was one of my favorite pets. idk why they removed him from exiled lands. i think the only way is farming Askia the Lookout now, if you don’t have siptah you just can’t get him anymore.
I think @Tephra mentioned that there is somewhere on the Exiled Lands to still get them. I think it was that they are drops from something you fight, but I don’t remember where.
