How to throw a throwing axe

So I have been away from the game for a little while and this time back I though I would change things up a bit and go with the throwing axe off hand. It is a fun play style but I can not for the life of me figure out how to throw the axe. Works great as an off hand, but would like to know how to throw it as it would make a great way to kite mobs? Any help would be great, and thanks

Default is Ctrl key I believe
