Hunger Blades not doing Bleed like it's supposed to

Bug Description:

The legendary dual axes, Hunger Blades, are supposed to do the following statuses: Bleed, Diseased, and Cripple. Both the in-game tool tip and the official wiki state this. But in practice, they do Diseased and Cripple, but not Bleed. I don’t believe this is simply a visual bug either, because the only damage ticks I’ve witnessed have come from the Diseased status.

Bug Reproduction:

Equip the Hunger Blades, fight an enemy, and see that it does not do bleeding damage nor does the icon for bleeding gets displayed.
