Husband removed bracelet, I re-equipped him and then he re-cut scened and lost it all

My husband completed the main story on his character, Duraen, and removed his bracelet. He started a new character on the same server, also named Duraen. I met him to hand him back his own gear and re-invited him to our guild. He had made it to level 10 on the new toon, and went to the dregs. Upon zoning in it sent him back to the cut scene where you take off your bracelet and sent him back to recreate character screen. He lost everything… from the red mothers ever burning torch to a full set of blackblood tools, the truncheon and water skins from the wine cellar dungeon and his legendary weapons He had the festering axe on him) and epic gear.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:
1.beat game by collecting items and removing bracelet
2.remove bracelet to complete game and watch cutscene and create new character
3. Zone into dregs
4. get sent back to cutscene

Should there not be a point “2.5 Give the new character the same name as the old character”?

Thanks for the speedy reply =D He knows he is out all the gear but we wanted to report it anyways to make you aware of this bug. Starwalker, agreed… I should have made a point about the reuse of the name. That point may or may not have contributed to the issue, as well as him not binding to a bed or bedroll prior to entering the dregs.
