I can't play normal at all

Bug Description:

Even if you give the accompanying person a move order, they will stop in place or follow you while teleporting. Sometimes they do not follow you all the way. The same thing happens when you give the order to attack. Hostile NPCs also remain motionless or teleport suddenly. It is not an environment where normal play is possible. Everything is a mess.

@RitualGround Could you kindly have people log into the game on the same servers Players log into and actually test it to see if there are issues that need to be addressed.

Same problem on 1004 (official PVE). Terrible lag makes game totally unplayable due to rubberbanding. I nearly died to sabretooths several times when they teleported to attack me while my followers just stood there…
Other players on this server were reporting the same in chat.

Completely agree - it is not up to players to record videos unless it’s for some obscure thing no one else can see, it is up to developers to log in to servers to see it for themselves. We can all see it, why can’t you? Test your freakin games please!!

I spent a few minutes on official 1953 before getting the dreaded restart messages that mean I can’t play for the next half hour due to the multiple restarts that will come. And I have followers unable to leave my base because they apparently can’t path through all the massive gates? Not responding to commands, won’t TP to me if I go far enough away and command to stop, unwalkable floor literally everywhere which I usually only see if the server is full of busy players and I am the only one who was online at the time. Didn’t Funcom say no more updates close to weekends? Then they do this on a Friday for me / Thursday for USA? Hope you have time to fix all this before your weekend hits. Was so looking forward to this, really should have known better. When will I ever learn not to get excited about updates?

Wondering if it’s all to do with pathing / unwalkable floor error. I logged in to Siptah Official 6429 and got a follower to follow me and can place them anywhere, no unwalkable floor error, only person online is me again. Will try some combat with them.

Edit: well… I will when the server restarts a couple of times. sigh

Are you stalling for time with a typed reply?
There is no need to provide a video.
Because you guys already know that there are tons of bugs that cannot be ignored.
If you insist on not knowing, then log in as a player to the server where the bug is occurring, as you all have said you would do.
You will understand what is going on in much less time than it takes me to provide you with a video.
I have been patient all this time, but for goodness sake, I can’t contain my anger at your insincerity.

Ok, back on 1953 (yes it took 26 minutes for it to come back online after the restarts - utterly ridiculous but a daily routine) and can report that I can now place thralls, they will follow me, and I now have the green ghosts near doorways to place door guards - they were not working before.

and… the purge cannot be started, it says “There is no reachable location for the purge to setup their basecamp.” if you want a video on this as well… I can provide, but right now I can’t even move on the map because of the lag.

THIS. So. Much. This. When thousands of players report the same problem, stop asking them to replicate it and go see for yourself. Just freaking play your own game on a public server and you’ll SEE the problem, I guarantee it. These forums constantly remind me of the old war movie where a clerk keeps trying to requisition toilet paper and keeps getting the reply “cannot identify item requested.”

The same issue at 1036 PvE-K server - thralls can’t fight and reache some places, teleport and even don’t follow - justvteleport and stay. Even after srver restart issue don’t solve. :frowning:

I love Conan - I have 1,897 hours. in the game and all DLCs and that’s why I decided to write, because we can’t play normally.
There is a bug where, game works normally when there are two players next to each other, but when one player leaves, let’s say, the base and moves too far outside the other player’s rendering area, lag begins for the player who left the base . During lags, you can’t see where NPCs, thralls and enemies are moving. You can see that they stand still and have walking animations, but in fact they move normally and can even attack you and fight among themselves, but you don’t see it and you can’t even damage them. BUT if the player who stayed in the base without lag goes towards the player who has lag, then what is rendered for second player stops being lagged for player who had lags. Problems occur when one of the players leaves an area that has already been rendered by both players. If both players go in the opposite direction, problems arise for both players. And there is another problem - lag appears for a moment after, even the player who stayed in the base runs up to the player with lag, to make lags go away, and a moment later he moves away, lag returns immediately. However, when the player with lag reaches the base even when the other player is not there, the lag disappears. It looks as if the base and its structures themselves, as well as another player who also renders the terrain, were blocking the lag.

Please funcom do something, at this moment game on officla servers even with 2-3 online is barely or not playable. Thralls leveling is now non-exist becasue they freeze and not respond to commands or 5-10 minutes respond. Npc also often displacet from theirs default positions and also not often react standing like tree. Officals alawys end as mass players beta test servers.
If this update was aimed for single players then i understands, but officials are not-playable.

Welcome, Monika. I agree that this update had some really strange unintended consequences. At this time, I am just farming and organizing my base, as doing enything else, combat, taking followers with me, etc is currently undoable due to lag.

The funny thing is :
I play on official PVE-K on pc = exactly the same issues !
I play on different official pvp servers on PlayStation 5 = exaaactly the same issues …
The only thing I discover are the Fakt it starts getting desynchronised after a while you play … ( it goes faster if you play with a friend who’s running in you’re render area @Ignasi

I’ve started yet another single player game while they sort this crap out - no server, no lag/desync.

Should not be like this, Funcom… YET AGAIN. Do you hear us?
