There will be. Read the fine print on the announcement. But not clear about when which sucks.

Stopping a game version update is no theft. No server is getting taken away. No purchased item is getting taken away. You get the promised and delivered content inside the bundle.

Please be rational.

As of what we know now this will be not true. No official Server will be available for the Epic/Microsoft store Version. You will have to find/rent/set up your own UE4-Server.

Also: if you “own“ Crom Coins they will be worthless after 2026-5-5 without possible refund.

Maybe they release CEE on Epic/Microsoft some time in the future and you can spend those coins then but who will be interested anymore?

These PC versions being double whammied is why I believe it’s not porting that is the issue but certification. I believe that MS and Epic store fronts have standards that a game needs to pass before it can be put out (similar to the consoles certification processes).

So now I got 2 theories on this.

1.Joel is disgusted with Dune’s porting progress and just wants to not deal with it anymore. If true, I expect 10¢to get involved to backhand leadership over ignoring significant revenue streams and customer PR issues because ‘its too hard’

  1. This was heavily rushed. Joel and FC have not seen a full assurance on it but got pressure to release so release it shall be…and no one is confident that a fancy buggy update will salvage anything and just turn the game into a downward spiral so why bother to be on the hook to put it into queue for the gated platforms/channels.

i guess that there is still the same guy that make things rush (and why we don’t know…) and that he is transforming what should have been a very happy moment for the whole conan community in a total mess and painfull moment. honestly unable to understand how they ended up in this situation with what they did and have in hand.
