And now look! Top servers are always 40/40 with a wait list during raid. Top servers all night was 32/40 and that was LATAM LOL
THIS. GAME. IS. FRIED.
Delete survival and call it just Conan. You can’t go max level in 2 hours in a survival game. You can’t get 100 worker thralls and fighters in 3 hours in a survival game. You can’t get max level of every single material and aquire max OP items within 4 hours in a survival game.
18 months ago this game was 1x harvesting. Then it went 4x. Now it’s Join a server and be maxed out in a day so you can fight other people right away.
You don’t even have to level thralls anymore! It max levels them!! LOL!! You don’t have to farm literally at all anymore. Or grind or build or gather or collect or do literally anything that a survival game requires.
And it sure seems, judging by these empty lobbies, I’m not the only one who agrees lol
So unofficial servers with hardly any players. No ty. And that doesn’t change the in-game being broken. We got 100 Snow Hunters from the 5,000 coins we gathered from that dungeon.
Ain’t no such thing as “subjective facts”. As for the rest of it, you missed the point: you’re complaining that the game is “destroyed” because too many people want to play it.
That’s cute. You took the definition of a specialized term – from Australian Law Dictionary, no less – and tried to use it to justify your attempt to pass your opinion as a fact
None the less. Just checked all of 1 public server that is 34/40, the next is 17/40. And I have to wonder how a public sever is even playable at 34/40?
So I’m going to take the OP as sarcasm.
But my lord aren’t the private servers packed
I usually consider 45-50 online players to be on the lower end for a decent private server (no offense to smaller servers, each has their own thing). So how many can your server hold? Oh before it starts lagging out?
Again you chose to play on low pop, zero survival servers. That’s on you.
It’s a survival game for the first 30 levels or so, the first couple of times you level up a new character. It’s less challenging for that span than it was in the past, but it’s always been survival-lite.
Then again, I’ve not played any survival game that didn’t end up trivial once you round the learning curve.
Public servers that starts at about 20. In my experience by 30 it’s lagging to the point of being unplayable.
Certainly not hard core. Survival games are my thing, if you want micromanaging your vitals try SCUM. You want brutal PVP RUST. Hate both. Conan is on par with most, tougher then a few.
That’s funny considering that private servers in general have higher populations than official servers. Private servers with 60 player and even 80 player caps as opposed to the 40 player caps on officials I have seen with ques of people waiting to get on them. But sure, you go ahead in your little fantasy delusional world where 80 people plus a waiting list = hardly any players.
Then again, you also think that the latest update bring MORE players means that it someone had “destroyed” the game clearly shows your level of delusions.
fact
a thing that is known or proved to be true.
the truth about events as opposed to interpretation.
What you have been presenting in this thread has purely been your interpretation, and has been in fact your opinion and NOT fact.
I’m confused by your belief that levelling must be arduous in order for the game to be considered part of the ‘Survival’ genre. Ark Survival Evolved lets you level quickly into the levels you need to begin to raid, tame, run around the map with ease. Rust has no levelling. Day Z has no levelling.
What survival game has a slow arduous grind that doesn’t also provide consistent milestone content to make the grind feel worth it? For the longest time everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING in this game was gatekept by having to spend hours hitting level 60 with nothing to do in the interim. Before Tier 2 building mats were buffed in 3.0, I hadn’t seen a Tier 2 base since the Alpha release of Conan.
Low tier armor and weapons are practically moot because they don’t put a dent in epic armor, and your armor barely affects the amount of damage you receive from epic weapons. I’ve played this game for six years, and I can’t tell you the last time I didn’t just kill some Nordheimers to get hardened steel weapons and then immediately progress to star metal once I could craft it at level 60.
There is zero benefit to the levelling system besides timegating new characters on servers from being able to interact with the majority of what the game has to offer.
I don’t see what the problem is with having high population during raid times. If you don’t want to get raided, don’t play on a server with building damage. Play on a PvE server, play on a PvE-C server. Funcom has these options for you. But a HUGE detriment to the longevity of populations on PvP servers has been the sheer amount of TIME it takes to rebound after getting raided. And that’s been, whether inadvertently or not, genuinely pretty fun to be able to bounce back and take the fight to the guys that raided my base the day before.
I mean you either get max pop PvP raid time, or the same 5 ‘gigachad’ aLpHa clans who’ve been sitting on the same server for 3 years with chests of pre-nerf Epis, Yogs and duped building mats from when 3.0 first game out logging in once every 240 hours to re-up their building decay, and wiping any sandstone shack that dares threaten their ‘supremacy’.
