This one is confused on one point.
The game is called Conan Exiles.
It isn’t called Conan Survival.
The Survival aspect is relatively light. In some ways it felt like early levels were supposed to emphasize the day to day survival issues, but by higher levels (with wells, planters, dryers, preservation boxes, breathing masks unlocked) those faded into the background as opposed to the mass resource processing and building sprawl/property person proliferation.
Amusingly enough, the loss of the Survival attribute made survival a more prominent concern. No more chowing down on blue steaks. No more shrugging off the most intense of temperature issues.
While this one personally would very much love to see more survival issues in the game (something not dissimilar to the Sandstorm for other biomes, such as extremely cold and blinding Blizzards, Severe Thunderstorms that make the ground slippery or sticky in spots and sometimes strike you or others with lightning, Hallucinogen gas plumes that immediately set one to completely drunk, ect…) it’s not that there isn’t survival, it’s just not emphatic and does become trivialized later game. As this one understands, the late game trivialization is by design, but this one may misremember.

Wipe servers.

Get the keystone and walk out of the Exiled Lands, better chance of survival out there.
The fact that people stayed and built towns in it and refused to leave is already against the concept of survival enough.
No. The 4x rate is a good compromise in pvp, especially if you want solos in your game. You see on pve that not many complain about it being x1. Different strokes.

X1 was better. I think even for solo.
Back then resources meant something and when raiding taking resources was a prize.
Now everyone has more resources then needed.
Its boring…

it took some time to farm and scary to loose it.

Yeaahhhh, not really. Harvesting even 1x was still more effecient use of time. 80% of loot was dropped tbh. 4x at least allows for focus on what little pvp there really is left in the game.
