Indeed. The standard deviation of the mean with a 95% confidence interval would be ±7.263%:

1.96√(0.15625 * (1 - 0.15625) / 96) = 0.07263 . . .

Given the small sample size of 96, you’d expect the Agent Dossier drop rate to be 8.002% to 23.248% in 95% of repeated experiments.

I do actually have 95% confidence intervals calculated out in my spreadsheet. I erred on the side of not including them since the people who actually understand them would know how to calculate them from the data I provided, and the people that don’t understand how confidence intervals work won’t ask why Carter says “0.3%±0.5%”
