I noticed a few changes on combat. On the player side, it became harder. I barely detect the problem pc players have, because it almost doesn’t impact controller users.

The fact that npcs can change direction so fast… I know you guys will hate me for saying this, but I love it. Now dodging needs to be very well timed. The window has closed a lot. Dodge too soon and you’ll get hit, dodge too late and you get nailed. Online the shield will be very helpful because lag will complicate things, as will not having hyperarmor. It’s all about timing now. Online, this is a problem. On SP, it’s very cool.

About thralls, enough has been said already. They need a revamp. It’s not that they are useless, but it makes combat much more tactical. On purges that concept doesn’t fly. Guards need to be much stronger and it wouldn’t hurt buffing followers a little. At least make them take potions automatically as soon as their health drops bellow 75%. They need hyperarmor and infinite stunlock needs to go. It only hurts combat, either making it too easy when you are inflicting it or too punishing when your thrall gets stunned.

It might be just me, but texture rendering seems to have improved a little, but it’s still too soon to tell. I’m playing like a noob to get the feeling a new player would have.
