Hey, since funcom seems to have no idea what to do for big season updates and therefore makes an UI overhaul nobody wanted i thought i would bring an idea for next seasons update:
its about upgrading your weapons, armor and tools at a new upgrade blacksmith with Materials from all over the conan world including heroic versions of dungeon.
heroic dungeons: we have a system like that for example in WOW. there is the normal version of dungeons and a harder version, which, in this game, would be the hardest content in the game.
every dungeon would have a version for endgame, maybe on the level of the arena champion (as i know him, i dont know if he got nerfed), maybe the arena champion should have an easier version in the normal dungeon, while everything else gets a harder version)
every endboss of theese heroic dungeon drops a dungeon specific material that we need for the next step
equipment upgrades: we get a new upgrade station that we can build maybe at level 40 to upgrade our equipment 30 times. the thrall for this workbench, upgrade blacksmith (whatever you want to call him/her) is available at the tavern. we need a level 1 for the first 10 upgrades, a level 2 for level 11-20 and a level 3 for upgrades 21-30. a named one will reduce the upgrade material cost.
every upgrade for the equipment brings following stat inscreases:
- complete repair of the weapon
- 0.5% base dmg on weapons, armor value on armor or more ressources on harvest for tools
- 3% less durability loss per level, on level 30 no durability loss any more. so the max weapons dont ever break. would be similar to black blades or haki infused blades in one piece, they dont break anymore
so at level 30 equipment has:
no durability loss
15% more base dmg on weapons, armor value on armor or more ressources on harvest for tools
the costs for the upgrades could contain specific Ressources from places all over the world (always the first in the list) + special materials like khari steel + iron, steel, hardened lether etc . something like the following:
- sinners refuge
- black galleon
- the summoning place
- the dregs (normal)
- buccaneer bay, (pirate king?)
- Palace of the Witch Queen (normal)
- silvermine (normal) + silver bars
- Midnight Grove (normal)
- The Barrow King (normal)
- New asagarth + the original weapon
- The Black Keep (normal) + black ice + starmetal
- Mounds of the dead
- The Sunken City (normal) + the pearls from there
- The Well of Skelos (norma (normal)l)
- Warmaker’s Sanctuary + armor pieces from there
- Wine Cellar (normal)
- newest golem dungeon (normal) + blood crystals
- unnamed city + fragments of power
- The dregs (heroic)
- Palace of the Witch Queen (heroic)
- Midnight Grove (heroic)
- The Barrow King (heroic)
- Silvermine (heroic) + silver bars
- The Black Keep (heroic) + black ice + starmetal
- The Sunken City (heroic) + the pearls from there
- The Well of Skelos (heroic) + obsidian
- Warmaker’s Sanctuary (heroic) + armor pieces from there
- Wine Cellar (heroic) + khari steel
- newest Golem dungeon (heroic) + blood crystals
- purge level 10 (heroic) + the original weapon
all in all an update like this would give us something to do in the endgame, to make the whole world more exiting and give us a reason to travel all over the world and to old dungeons.
of course my explenations is only exiles lands, havent played much siptah so that would need a system liek this too.
