How is it pay to win when the maps are seperated with no transfers? Soon those people who have those items on EL wont be able to use them because they will need material they have run out of from IOS.

Playing the long game here and literally forcing them to switch back to EL armor and weaponry by NOT adding server transfers.

And if they did add server transfers, it should be the character only completely stripped of everything - no resources ,no armor or weapons , nothing.

This because of the exact abuse we are talking about - to gain an advantage in PvP.

Totally agree with you. Exiles Land first, to feel the flavour of the game, all the other available commercial and free maps and extensions (Savage Wilds, Age of Calamitos etc.) only after going the full way from Newbie river to Volcano.

The idea of offering the BASIC MAP Siptah for free is not such a bad idea. Let there be an additional DLC so that all the building parts etc. are unlocked.

I love Siptah, prefer it to the Land of the Exiles but because you have to spend money on Siptah, it’s hard to build a server community. There are always a few players on it but that’s about it.

If this was the only thing holding server transfers from returning they could simply not allow transfers from one map to another. There is a myriad of problems with transfers that giving Siptah away for free would not solve.

I have to pay real money for wall paint in bazar and emote. But I could get entire map for free? Thats awesome. I’m happy already with free updates that brings many free bugs. As soon as they patch bugs, new update happens

Now there is a major difference between suggesting something constructive and suggesting something that is, for all intents and proposes, lunacy. Expecting the company to just start handing out the Isle of Siptah expansion for free is an example of the latter, as many people on this thread have pointed out.

That is a very tall claim you make. I assume you have some proof to back up your claim? You can in fact verify this claim that people such as @Jimbo and @CodeMage do in fact make money off of Conan Exiles for directly from Funcom right? If not than you own both of them an apology. And I can assure you that you do not in fact have any such proof, but I also already know that you will never make any such apology either. You see, for every claim that this forum is “populated by fanboys” an equal number of claims can be made that this forum is “populated by trolls and doomsayers”. Just look at the plethora of “XYZ has killed Conan Exiles” threads that always pop up. However, resorting to such petty name calling will never get you anywhere so please try to rise above such things. The most accurate description is “This forum is populated by people who are passionate about this game” which is why we are all here posting about it after all. Just because someone doesn’t agree with you does not make them a “fanboy who makes money from the game”.

For a very reasonable rate, this one is happy to make a strawman account.
At the premium rate it will even occasionally have a valid point so as not to be too obvious.

That said, this one can assure that both of the speculated employees have posted significantly critical statements in the past.
Regardless that this one agrees that the map (but not the rest of the goodies) should be added to the base game, that does not automatically make the opposition paid provocateurs.
