I agree. Server numbers remain (kinda), but more importantly (and selfishly, I know), remain high and stable on the servers I play on. Always seeing how much abusive behaviour’s purported gets reported in the Forum and Discorsd groups, but less so re many private and less abused platforms. If the Purge takes place via a swarm attack of a marauding “alpha clan” then that is ‘fine’, same with an actual Purge - though there are complaints there too.

This time around, glitches in an Update cause a general ‘Purge’. If the base damages and losses had been via a standard Purge, or via a concerted Clan attack, no complaints (kinda).

Across the servers I play on, one base completely decayed, losing everything except for one irritating disconnected wall and roof supported by the frame-foundation it was supported by for my ‘vault room’. One another server, poof went just the sleeping and storage chambers - why does Funcom ‘hate’ my decor so much. I did manage to prevent a ton of loss on another by catching it soon enough. Yay.

Thing is, happily, the game is a lot of fun (for me) and so I keep playing. Past purges have done way worse as have clan battles with way too many bombs in hand. Quitting a game because you lose a lot of stuff via a rectified glitch that core parts of the game are built to do is somewhat dramatic, but hey ho, I’ll certainly still be playing Conan Exiles, warts and all.
