What a lot of points you have taken the time to pen. I am sure many other greater minds than mine will be more betterer at replying to all of them.

I do know that form Day one pre-Alpha, volumes of changes have been introduced, adjusted, removed and replaced again (or not) - many because people on all sides gave feedback. I would of course hope for and expect similar changes in the future - some I will welcome, some not (likely).

A quick tweak of game settings and the nerfs are gone, made easier or made harder - a no-brainer and easy to adapt to - especially with what the new Purge is changing to (exciting times ahead indeed!).

Weapons, armours, materials, pets, thralls, npcs, monsters, etc. - meh, they’ve changed in almost every update. I do wish there were less weapons to be honest - so many to choose from and to apply modifications to too (including poison, etc).

Happily the carrying of huge bulk/kitchen sink was addressed way back with Encumberance maxing, though that’s not to everyones taste. Horses/Camels/Rhino/Elephant pack animals and thralls remain useful.

Glad you mentioned the ephemerous “AI” - I do wish it was more intelligent and vicious. It is indeed relatively predictable, but it’s way way better than back pre-alpha and v1.0 so goody to that.

Happily, there are all those infinitely stable, modded (or not), real-world styled, open-world games out there to choose from. I’ve played CE for thousands of hours and am not planning on stopping anytime soon. Choice is good. So far my patience levels have not been strained by any game I play, including ol’ Conan Exiles. My servers remain consistently played on (who cares). I still see regular friends screaming about, being maimed, gathering treasures, etc.

It’s just a game. Enjoy it - or not.

Perhaps the final ‘Act of Age of War’ will have valid cause for screaming, but that’ll be the point
